Not long ago the manufacturer Honda has just introduced a 1.6-liter diesel engine iDTEC dedicated to the Civic sedan. Now the Japanese company is preparing a diesel engine with a capacity less prepared for a small car Honda.

As reported by Motorbeam, Honda is developing a 1.4-liter engine iDTEC who will make his debut in India in 2013. The diesel engine will be embedded into some models such as Jazz, Brio and the City was developed by a former technician F1 (Formula One).
