Good news for lovers of small cars. Hyundai is ready to launch a new variant Veloster 2012. Reportedly, Hyundai Veloster ready to compete with Honda CR-Z.

Hyundai Motor America President and CEO John Krafcik mentioned that will be released with the official Volester USD17.300 or about Rp148 million to the price the United States. This price is cheaper than USD2000 claimed Honda CR-Z.

Even Veloster room cabin offers a larger car. Hyundai also claims its new flagship is capable of penetrating 40 miles per gallon on the highway.

Hyundai Veloster is a combination of coupe and hatchback with three doors functional. Veloster using the all-new engine Gamma 1.6-liter four-cylinder, as a variant of Hyundai's smallest machines that use Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI).

Gamma 1.6-liter engine capable of producing 138 horsepower at 6300 rpm and maximum torque of 123 lb.-ft. at 4850 rpm. GDI also uses features of Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing, gas control, roller chain timing, variable induction and anti-friction coating innovative CRN Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) and a layer of Diamond Like Carbon (DLC).

Hyundai is committed to make the Gamma engine reaches the level of lack of waste of high fuel, combined with six-speed manual transmission.
