Japanese car manufacturer, Toyota, has announced the latest version for Prius Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) will appear in the Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September.

Plug-in Hybrid Prius is claimed as the vehicles much more environmentally friendly than regular hybrid type. The Prius can run pure electric motors without the help of a gasoline engine. But there is a barrier for this car, in terms of battery would be far more expensive.

Plig-in Prius Hybrid has a lithium-ion battery that can provide long bid for an EV.

Thus, it can achieve fuel efficiency is remarkable about 128.4 mpg and only requires about 49 grams of CO2 per kilometer. These results are almost half of the regular Prius.
