In addition, they also claim that sophisticated ZF transmission, called 9HP is able to increase fuel efficiency up to 16% compared with 6-speed automatic transmission available today. Figures are very significant savings.
Amazingly, this transmission can be easily adapted and used with technology start-stop system, engine and hybrid drive systems, all-wheel-drive. But unfortunately for the time being, the new transmission was only able to handle the machine with torsional strength (torque) in the range up to 480 Nm 280Nm.
