New Honda Civic has officially slid in the United States and now the European version will be coming soon. But, the specification offered to European Honda is rumored to differ with the variant in the U.S. or Japan.

Set this new Europe will be released towards the end of this year. The latest generation Civic comes complete previous variants that are considered very successful. Honda Civic patent was filed before entering the European market, both for the class four-door sedan and two-door coupe.

In the U.S., holding a model Civic 2.4L i-VTEC engine that produces 201 horsepower and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm), combined with 6-speed manual transmission and a standard limited-slip differential. Also available 1.8l engine, in the Civic Natural Gas, which is claimed to spent 31 mpg (7.59 liter/100 km).

While in Europe, a Japanese manufacturer is claimed to be using the model 2.2l i-DTEC unit, but also available in turbo diesel units. So far the full specs are still unknown.
