Mazda Demio is known as the Mazda2 in Europe, has just been released in the Asian market. Demio 2012, comes with a 1.3-liter SKYACTIV-G with direct injection gasoline engine.

This unit was inaugurated last month at the Pacifico Yokohama convention center, Tokyo, Japan. Demio comes with dual sequential valve timing and compression ratio of ultra high.
Combined with the i-idling stop system, SKYACTIV-G 1.3 has a record of high compression ratio of 14.0:1, piston cavity is designed with technologies to support the ideal combustion and multi-hole injectors for precise fuel injection.
Total 130 patent must be filed by Mazda in launching this new 1.3-liter. Evelops 82 hp at 5400 rpm (62 kW) and 112 Nm (83 LB-FT) of torque at 4,000 rpm. In accordance with the Japanese test cycle, the fuel consumption of 30km per liter Demio or equal to 3.33 l/100 km or 70.6 mpg U.S..
Japanese car manufacturer has also developed a system called i-DM that monitors the movement of the steering wheel pedal, gas pedal and brake, and speed of vehicles, to inform the driver of the skill through the gauge and colored lights on the dashboard.
"The value of each trip is used to calculate the level of driving skills, from stage 1 to stage 3. With the progress through each stage, drivers may feel that their driving skills that will continue to improve," said Mazda.
