British car manufacturer, Land Rover is rumored to be making the latest version of the product of four-wheel drive car of his legendary, Defender.
John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director said, "We have serious plans to replace the Defender, plans new model should be present in less than 3 years."
This plan is also getting stronger because of Tata, an Indian company now owns Land Rover, will reportedly invest large sums of money for developing new models.
Like its predecessor, this Defender replacement car will be present with several choices shape the body, such as station wagons, until the pick-up truck.
Land Rover reasoned, with a new model that the company believes can retake the potential market, such as Africa and Australia, where the current entered competitor Toyota Land Cruiser.
Defender is Land Rover car which made the legendary reliability in heavy field-tested. Even some countries have entrusted the car as one of the military operation vehicles.
With sales of 18,000 units last year, Tata plans to increase sales Defender after new models come out. But until now has not been ascertained, whether the new Defender will continue to use the same or different machines. So did the price, the Land Rover can not be revealed.
